What the company did

Augment reports Werner using Augie to read forwarded tenders and submit completed orders directly into its TMS. It handles multi-load tenders in one pass and emails a representative when missing details must be supplied before the build can finish.

How it went

After a pilot, Werner selected Augment for wider use and estimated about three minutes saved per load build. The September 2026 announcement’s more-than-1,000-hours-per-month figure is an expectation, not a measured monthly result. Neither estimate demonstrates order-entry accuracy.

Worth knowing

  • Additional order-to-cash workflows were future plans in this account.
  • For your desk: Reconcile every load in a multi-load tender against the created orders, especially reference numbers, facility codes and missing-detail replies. Check for omissions and duplicates before release.

Supporting evidence and review

Human review required

  • Practical review advice: compare order count, facilities, references, equipment and appointments with the tender.
  • Check for duplicate builds when a customer resends or revises a tender.

Evidence & limitations

  • Provider report with a named Werner executive; no independent order-entry benchmark.
  • Additional order-to-cash workflows are future plans in this source.
  • Estimated time savings are not an accuracy guarantee.
