Qued describes ABCO configuring customer and facility scheduling rules before using Smart Appointments across its refrigerated network. The platform connects with the carrier’s TMS and uses machine learning to select slots based on ETAs, capacity, history and location requirements.
How it went
The August 2026 provider report says approximately 85% of scheduling was automated across 650–750 weekly loads following a November 2025 go-live. ABCO reported no more missed PO numbers, while a dedicated scheduler increasingly audited appointments. These results lack an independent scheduling test.
Worth knowing
- Slot selection is the machine-learning contribution; portal booking and system connections are supporting automation.
- For your desk: Check the purchase-order reference, receiving rules and confirmed slot against the refrigerated load’s route; audit exceptions instead of treating a booking as proof of feasibility.
